A Leither at Leith Hall

We took a short drive out to visit Leith Hall today. It's a beautiful building with amazing grounds. My wife used to work here so is able to fill me in on all the history. It's really sad that the building itself is no longer open to the public. It's very interesting and filled with ornate furniture, possessions and paintings, all of which tell lots of stories. The building was used as a location for Most Haunted a few years ago, although i'm assured it's not an eerie kind of place.

However, despite the sadness of it now being closed, the grounds are still accessible so we went for a wander round. We visited the woods and the old kirkyard, lots of history and nature to explore.
