Jökulsárlón

We had an early start and a long journey to Jökulsárlón. It is, by far, the most amazing thing to see. Massive lumps of iceberg, floating in a fairly small lagoon. We were lucky to see some of the chunks falling off and floating out to sea. What a noise when they break off.

We opted for a boat trip and had the opportunity to taste some of ice- the extra shows the clarity of the ice.

An amazing day.
