Bandstand in Loule

I was up early this morning to start on the clean up of the villa as we leave today and the owner is coming this evening.
We’ve all got different flight times too, and as Gabby is leaving mid afternoon and needs to buy a few souvenirs we have a couple of hours in Loule. It’s a pretty town with some nice shops and cafes and the bandstand with sculptures of s brass band was built in 1901.
After dropping Gabby at the airport we had a quick turnaround ourselves to finish packing and tidying. As usual we also had a rushed drive to the airport and last minute panic to put petrol in the hire car and return it. We got through security quickly only to find Mark & Paula still there as their flight was delayed an hour. The rest of us got off on time, and Mum, R and I flew to Heathrow, and a straightforward quick journey home.
