Apples and washing

It was 2.30am
the door creaked open
bluebottles buzzed in the stale air (why are there so many?)
dustmotes danced in the moonlight
the house was warm from the heat of the day.
we all tumbled in and straight to bed

Not sure I will ever be a writer!

Up early this morning to inspect the foot high lawn and speak to me chickens who missed their treats but were pleased to be out and about. A day of catching up with washing and grass cutting and I cannot believe how many apples we have this year.

We are home and I will backblip my hols as I process the shots. I travel very light so all the photos are waiting to be viewed on my card. Good to have a break from the computer too
