Fairy Tales

At least that's the feeling l have looking at this photo. An orange glow from the sun low in the sky late in the evening casts a magic spell over the garden as the light, dipping behind some trees, catches the bottlebrush with its last throw.

I had to get setup quickly because the scene was changing rapidly and it only lasted seconds before the light was gone. I wanted just enough backlighting to create a few sparkles here and there in the image.

Deciding on the white balance was tricky and took a bit of back and forth with the sliders in LR.
