Rain stopped play

After a lazy start I made blackcurrant jelly. A first for me and its really good.
After lunch, while I tried to crack a novel by Bulgakov (and failed) Mr EAnn decided to clean the paving with the jet wash.
He didn't get finished before the rain set in.
We got Birthday presents wrapped for Emily and the Pixie. Ordered a last few bits for Tiger Lily's birthday too.
Now I need to find a new novel to read.
