Maryport trawler race.

This image and two extras were selected from many I had taken at this even. Workington lifeboat, plus four other various sized craft of RNLB, helped keep the crowds entertained prior to the move off, of Trawlers and small vessels, who had to proceed a mile out of the harbour to begin the race.
The second image is of a trawler called Silver Stream, a Maryport boat.
The third image is of seven Isle of Mann vessels that came over for the event. It is over run by Smurfs....
