The Advocate

I slept in and it felt good. It made for a warmer walk, but having no alarm is mentally worth it. My walking verse was Revelations 21:23 -

’And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.’

My Spurgeon quote, ‘Whatever there may be of effulgent splendour, Jesus shall be the centre and soul of it all.’

I’m wrestling with a song idea called ‘Light is...’, using the verse and meditation as the inspiration. It’s a never-ending cycle with me, to read scripture, or a commentary, and be so inspired as to have to write. That’s who I am. I’m an advocate of the mysteries of God’s word, and God’s plan. And I’m good with that!
