Sunday...........

.........with the Munchkins. 

After a slow start to the day, they finally got out of their jammies and we set off for a long walk on the beach. It was awesome. Huge waves and interesting stuff washed up. We found a tiny bottle, with lid, with barnacles but alas, no message. We found a shark's egg case and some interestingly shaped sea sponges. Then, when we came home for a late lunch, Miss E found a clump of "spitfires" on a leaf. Eewww. They are gross!
So. We have had an extremely educational day! 

These tiny fungi are growing happily by the birdbath. I need to make the most of them as it won't be long before they dry out and disappear for another year.
