Still Life - Sunflowers

i'm still working on a series of still lifes. I had my hessian rolled out in the studio and I had found a little pottery urn in The Mate's garage. It just shouted sunflowers at me.

I won't be back in the studio for a few days so I went and bought some sunflowers before they go out of season.I don't know when they go out of season but I had the idea and didn't want to miss it.

I couldn't resist a play with a filter to get a Van Gough effect. I really must spend some time with brush strokes but life is so short! My usual shot is in Extras.
