Too Hot

In the kitchen to turn on a plate on the hob. We had charcoal lit to finish off ribs cooked in the slow cooker.
The potatoes were boiled in the microwave, refreshed uder cold water, cut up a bit and thrown about in olive oil with garlic and rosemary using the heat off the barbecue, which was surprisingly powerful. I had never tried this before but it worked fine. 
I carelessly broke a pyrex bowl which we have had longer than we have stayed in this house.
