Motive to snap

Reflecting on the floods

I had to stop and take this picture today. The flooded field seems to be getting worse, but it does lead to opportunities to capture reflections, so it's not all bad!

This is the chimney of the old Isle of Grain Power Station. At 801 ft tall, it's actually a full 30 ft taller than Canary Wharf!

Sadly, rumour has it that it will be coming down some time later this year, as the old oil fired station has reached the end if its life. I'll be trying my damnedest to get up to the top before its brought down, to get a few snaps of the extraordinary views there must be from there - needless to say, I'll be blipping it if I do!
