Lack Of A Classical Education

I'm sure that the symbolism of the figures on this lamp post are clear to some of you but they aren't to me.  I've always felt like that, that I was never in the know, that I was always a bit too strange.

Out early today to meet up with a chum for a walk.  He likes to get his 10000 steps in.  We managed 20000.  It was great to be outside after the rain.  To walk and chat and walk.  I do love to wander.

They've started setting up for the Weinfest here. That probably means there will be the obligatory He-Always-Blips-That-Sekt Blip later this week.

And now back to the England collapse in the Test Match.
