Roast pork

Back at Butser today and it was another belter weather-wise, following a rather damp start. The pigs had the right idea, I reckon.

The course we’re running takes the children through the ages from the Stone Age to the Anglo-Saxon period. Each week starts with me giving them a little overview of the era (today it was the Bronze Age), usually inside one of the reconstructed houses from that time, and then we do some activities, which today largely involved making miniature houses with clay. It’s all good fun and confidence building for them, and hopefully educational too (and good experience for me personally as I’m more used to teaching adults).
