Rotten

The main trunk of this old tree at the end of the garden is going rotten in the middle. It has already been cut back once. It is due to be removed along with an adjacent apple tree as the roots are damaging the pathway behind it, but I want to get this year’s crop of damsons from it first! The tree seems to be flourishing even with the centre falling to pieces!
