My special moments

Suomenlinna

Today we took the boat to Suomenlinna fortress, built in the second half of the 18th century by Sweden on a group of islands located at the entrance of Helsinki's harbour.
During the Swedish era it was a maritime fortress and a base for the Archipelago Fleet.
It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991.
There're still living people ao artists and writers and it was wonderful and interesting to walk around there.

So today I've posted some impressions of the island, on the last extra you can see one of the beautiful views from the fortress.

Huge thanks for your kindness again, much appreciated! X
