Coughton Court

Apologies to anyone who was worried I didn't write a journal yesterday, some days I just feel like posting a picture without boring you with my daily doings!

My friend John cane round lunchtime and we went to Coughton Court, the National Trust property near Alcester. Being the holiday period it was pretty busy so we went for a walk first to let the cafe queue die down a bit.

We spent some time in the book shop before taking the riverside walk to the Catholic church and back through the gardens.

Ann was in the cafe pavillion when we returned and she went off on a walk whilst we chatted over lunch (she'd already had hers).

The picture is of some purple-loosestrife flowers at the lakeside.  Thanks to Mirana1008 for hosting this week's WildFlower Week.
