Arromanches-les-Bains, France

Today we drove along the Normandy beaches. We first drove from our hotel in Bayeux to Bénouville to visit the Pegasus Bridge Memorial. From there we drove to Courseulles-sur-Mer and continued all along the coast up to Arromanches-les-Bains, where we visited the 360 cinema. This is where I took this picture. 
Then we drove all the way to the Overlord Museum in Le Bray. We were there just an hour before closing, but had enough time to see everything in the museum and read most of the descriptions. 
It's been a long day, but nothing compared to what the British, US, and Canadian troops had to endure during the invasion of Normandy.
