Gem of a Church

I've wanted to see this church for years. This morning I started my bike and rode 130 miles to see it. It's located in Karuna, a former municipality on the SW coast of Finland. The style of the church is called the National Romanticism. It's hewn from local gray granite. Also the village around is so pittoresque it's hard to believe it's Finland.
