Birthday present

My birthday present to me - it's a new scope for bird-watching, today was the first opportunity I've had to road test it. Obviously I went to Dungeness and settled myself if Firth hide. Plenty to see and the clamp and scope were exactly as I wanted. It was busier than usual - that'll be the holidays I guess - but there was a period when I was on my own and I nearly fell asleep; that's not happened before!
