Weir

Today's Camera Club 'summer walk' took us to a small weir on the river Bray near the old sawmills.
Rather an interesting place - but very difficult to get down to - the path stopped with a 3ft drop! We did manage to finally work out how to get down, spent a quarter of an hour wandering around and took a few photographs, and then wondered how we could get back up! Thankfully we found an old 'lock' which we could use as a stepping block! I'm just very glad that it was dry.
We had a lovely meal at the Stag's Head - so nice to catch up with other club members each week, but it is a shame that not many make these evenings. Other summer pressures I guess.
