The Engagement

We saw Oklaholma outdoor theatre group's great play The engagement  in the Art Museum Sara Hilden's garden. The play is written by Aleksis Kivi (1834-1872) and it is very short play, it lasted only 35 minutes (it was good for Peetu, who behaved well!). 

The two plays: Kihlaus (‘The engagement’, 1866) and Nummisuutarit (‘The heath cobblers’, 1864) which, in addition to Seitsemän veljestä, also popular as a play, are regarded as Aleksis Kivi's greatest achievements. 


Indeed, I felt a bit better today! One very big problem is that everything I eat, tastes very bad in my mouth. Very annoying!
