The cranes in this image are helping to build the new London sewer. It’s horrible to think of the past where waste was just thrown in the river. It’s even worse to think of household waste lying in the gutter.

The extras are the new building at the end of Blackfriar’s Bridge and the detail of the supports of the bridge.

As I crossed the bridge two canal boats went underneath. Something you don’t normally see. It made me smile.
