flower friday

a close and muggy, sunny day! we seem to have missed out on the deluge of rain that was forecast earlier in the week, but the winds are really building up now so looks like they at least got that part of the forecast right!  Made it fun trying to snap a picture of a flower with them all blowing around so much! Love the detail on astrantias!

Errands to run locally today and catching up on some book reviews - GoodReads informs me I've now read 150 books this year! And many, many more still to read!  It's also Book Lovers Day today so I see on Twitter - so happy booklovers day to those of you who love your books! I think I'll celebrate the day by buying a new book or 3!!
