Women's Tour of Scotland

The Women's Tour of Scotland went right past out front door at lunchtime in the most awful conditions, it couldn't have been any wetter.
Unfortunately for the event but fortunately for the safety of the competitors the stage was abandoned a little later on due to the flooding in many sections of the route.
It would have been so different if only the weather hadn't turned so unseasonably wet even for this part of Scotland.
We hope to be cheering them on in sunshine or at the very least dry weather next year.
