Rik just informed me that the grape hyacinth bulbs are sprouting, well of course I had to see for myself, and then it had to be today's blip. I remember them doing a something similar last year or maybe it was earlier this year. It's very silly and probably rather disconcerting when taking the climate emergency situation into consideration.
