Stage winner

parkrun this morning, ran round with a slightly slower friend and then to cafe. Mr Rat didn't come, he had a very sore knee a couple of days ago and, although it seems okay he decided to rest it another day and catch up with some work.
After lunch we went to Perth to look at rucksacks as I need a new one, not really a lot of choice there or Dundee but I've found one that's good if the one I've ordered (cheaper but looks suitable) proves not to be okay.
While we were there we realised Stage 2 of the inaugural Women's Tour of Scotland was about to finish so we waited and I got a pick of the stage winner, Alison Jackson from Canada. She is the first ever stage winner as Stage 1 yesterday had to be abandoned due to the weather.
Today was warm, dry and bright until late afternoon, when the heavy showers returned, with little wind and high humidity.
