Heading home

Not the greatest shot being out of the windscreen on a wet and windy morning, but the descent into Newgale gave a view of a very wild sea. It was taken at twenty five past eight after an early start to avoid some of the hold ups that we experienced last Saturday in the opposite direction. We had already decided on a change of route to avoid the busy intersection of motorways that created part of the delays on the first journey and then the sat nav redirected us via Stratford to avoid six miles of standing traffic. Two voluntary stops but no traffic jams and we were back in Lincoln by half two which was certainly drier than Wales but the wind was still very much in evidence.

Bailey was pleased to be back in his garden but has mainly slept since we got back. He has clearly enjoyed himself on his holiday - as have we.
