Wind In The Willows

As Ollie dog and I picked our way through all the willow twigs that the high winds had strewn on the towpath we heard a baby crying. It was on a narrowboat on the other side of the canal. Once we were opposite, there was a gap in the vegetation. The baby stopped crying and stared at us. When I called to the woman asking if she minded if I took her photograph two lovely dogs appeared.

We had a lovely windy walk in the sunshine to Glen Faba where Ollie had a paddle. On the way back we came across a huge willow trunk that had fallen since we passed that way earlier.
