Frustrating day

Today we were supposed to get the train to Grandma's.

Our train was at lunchtime and thetrainline showed it as 'on time' all morning so we turned up and it was 'delayed'. It was still delayed an hour after it was due to leave. We spoke to a man at the information desk and he said there was flooding on the line but they'd get us there. So we had a picnic on the sauna/concourse. After another hour the next train went from delayed to cancelled so we went to the information desk again. This time they said it was unlikely we'd get there today as the flooding was quite local to where we were going. They were sending other people going to other locations the long was round bit for us it would be a very long way round. But we could use our ticket on any train tomorrow. Frustrating.

Went home. 

Grabbed our swimmies and went to the pool, then to McDonald's as we'd seen a billboard ad for a McFlurry and CyclopsJnr fancied one. He had a twix McFlurry and liked it. They also had soft play there so he rampaged with a like-minded child for a bit. Then we went to The Quarry to collect some wellies from M&S that CyclopsJnr needs for school.
