Improvising

On my last hat course, the tutor gave us a wonderful tip on making a neat binding. She encouraged us to use a sewing machine for the outside edge, and then to slip stitch the inside. It has been a great revelation, and really makes for a neat finish. The only challenge is fitting some of hat components in. So today I improvised with a box file. It worked well.
Am pleased to say I have finished all the components for the two wedding hats now!
