Heaven!

Off we went to Eastport, Maine today -- home of some pretty amazing extreme tides (some 15' to 18') owing to their proximity to the Bay of Fundy.  Thanks to the kind advice of justbe, we made a beeline for Quoddy Bay Lobster where we ordered two lobster rolls to go (we had Mabel with us, so we couldn't eat there).  We devoured them in the car, parked with a gorgeous view of Campobello Island through the windshield as gentle raindrops pattered down from above.  Just about the best lunch ever!

Extras:  Some surprise lupines (I thought they finished blooming in early July!), and a humourous roadside sign.
