Lytes Cary Manor.

After a relaxed start to the day we all enjoyed a legendary Mr A cooked full English breakfast before a visit to Lytes Cary Manor, a local medieval manor, which is looked after by the national trust.

The photo is of a watering point in the grade 2 listed gardens, I couldn't make out the date on it without standing in the border but it is made of lead and very ornate.

The gardens were absolutely stunning and I would definitely visit again (so long as the plant sales were closed to avoid buying more)

A late 'tapas' style lunch was very much appreciated as thunder was rumbling around before we had to leave to journey home.

We had a lovely time and returning to normality is never as good as leaving it.

Thank you so much Angelique and Mr A for a great weekend and we look forward to the next time.
