Pick your own...

A lovely walk this morning to Finchley Nurseries. A family run garden centre seemingly untouched by commercialism. We’d been before but at least ten years ago and it was like the first time all over again today.

The dahlias were in full bloom and you could pick your own bunch at 40p a head. Also other flowers and foliage, so your own favourites chosen, making very individual bunches. I thought it was a great idea.

We stopped in the beautiful cafe garden for a small lunch before discovering the woodland walk home. Wonderful for Milo and oh so peaceful and beautiful for us.

We must have walked Milo off his little feet as he was asleep in no time once we got home. We took the opportunity to read and do more of very little. My extra shows what good friends Milo and I have become! We had great games and chat time first thing this morning!

GadgetKid is doing really well and could be out of hospital early this week. Sadly, our friend has left The Priory after only one week of the course. I am actually glad we were not available should she have asked us to take her home.
