Another wet day in Edinburgh

It rained nonstop all day which made for interesting walking between venues at the Fringe.
For the last few years a good friend of mine has organised a girls day at the fringe for his wife and a few friends - this year it was yesterday. He picks the shows and gives us the tickets in sealed envelopes - all very mysterious. We have seen some interesting acts over the years and yesterday was no exception. First up was a late lunch with Christopher Biggins - interesting chat with his 3 guests.
We then headed to our second act - Josh Berry - a 23 year old impressionist who was very skilled and kept us entertained. Spookily he was a similar height and build to my son with a very similar hairstyle and colour!
Our third and final act was Michelle McManus (winner of Pop Idol in 2003) she sang and told stories of growing up - beautiful voice.
Had dinner at a lovely Italian before 3 of he ladies headed for their trains and my chum Susan and I nipped to the pub across the road for a catch up. My lovely son drove into town to save me waiting in the rain for a bus.
Was a little overtired so decided to Back blip in the morning which is what I’ve done!
