Ruffled But Fabulous Feathers

This Greylag goose is partnered with another .Nothing unusual there but each year they are to be seen with their very overgrown , once upon a time  canada goose gosling ! The story goes they raised it and couldn't bring themselves to let it leave home .It's chaperoned and should any other goose come near it's told where to go in no uncertain manner .Here you see one foster parent  settling it's feathers after a set to with some neighbours..
