A day out

Another day out with the Talpids. There was a picnic, a visit to the splendid Macduff aquarium and to finish off the day  some excellent fish and chips were eaten in the fishing village of Whitehills.

The main photograph shows a large sea anemone in the  aquarium, I think that it is a mottled anemone Urticina crassicornis but it is such a long time since I learned my marine biology that I could well be wrong!
