Peacock

I am doing my annual penance which involves going through 300 software packages, checking what needs to be updated and what needs new dependencies and then recompile. It takes a few minutes for each package, while one is building I prepare the next one. It is very tedious, requires concentration and will occupy me for the next few weeks.

I did go for a lovely walk up Blackford Hill. On the way up I spotted this very compliant peacock butterfly. On the hill I did see another a butterfly on a ragwort I hadn't seen before but failed to capture it with the wee camera. I also noticed that Sauron's Eye is open again. It's quite crazy to clearly see the flare in Fife over here.
