Well-used

We have two shelves full of Cook Books, but sometimes only Delia will do. I learnt to cook with Delia Smith and we still go back to her after all these years. The book must be about 40 years old, and is just about holding together, but we still use it regularly, usually going back to the same recipes. Today I was making a Pavlova - Delia's recipe is so easy and never fails. **

** The danger is that she tells you to cook the meringue and then leave it in the oven overnight. Just once, many years ago, someone put the oven on in the morning . . .
