In A Dark Corner

Overcast, one might say dull, but calm and not cold by any means, so quite nice for photography. Walking around the meadow I found a few subjects, but this dramatic plant caught my eye because of its high contrast. I didn't recall seeing it before and had to look it up in the book - White Snakeroot.

The pink petals had fallen from the bee balm above adding a touch of colour to an otherwise dark scene. I considered cropping in to the white flowers, but decided on keeping the image fading to almost black to show off the small white blooms.
