Regatta

Oscar and I walked thru the woods and along the river today to watch the Regatta. Miserable weather for it! I had seen one race go down river as I walked up into the woods and thought I'd see them coming back as I came out of the woods. No sign of them so i walked along to the pottery and back before hearing the siren and realising I'd missed them! So I waited for the next race! To my surprise when they got nearly opposite me they turned round a bouy and raced back up the river! Quite a skill and hard work to turn and I'm afraid to say the Calstock team bumped into another boat - they all shot their hands up in the air to protest!
