Traction Avant

What a wet but enjoyable day. The Southern Group of Motoring Writers held a heritage day at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. We had to dodge on-off rain most of the day, but it was worth it because our car company press office contacts brought a wonderful selection of vintage and classic cars for us to drive. This was my favourite, a fabulously well preserved CItroen Traction Avant, one of the earliest front-wheel-drive cars. Such a beauty, and surprisingly civilised to drive.
