Elephant charge...

We set off for the 6 hour journey to Itezh tezhi around 7.30. The road was good until we got to the entrance of the national park when it became very sandy and badly rutted. We were making good time until about 30 minutes before we reached the lodge when there was a loud bang and the back window smashed in pieces. No one was hurt, the glass shattered over two people.

Then we set off on the first activity. Some went out on a boat while others including me went on a game drive! We saw many herds of elephants, one with over 100 including lots of babies. We met quite a few elephants on the road and had some excitement when one of them charged our vehicle!! This is the said elephant who looks nice on the photo but not so nice when it's running at the vehicle!

The team will have something to talk about when they get home!!
