Wolves on fire
Wolves 4 Pyunik 0
An early birthday present for Aaron was me tolerating a trip to Molineux. It always feels a bit odd. We got into the ground to be greeted by flame throwers to keep us warm and music at a volume to make your ears bleed...we retreated back into the stand to wait for kick off.
Being 4-0 up from the first leg in Armenia the result was never really in doubt and as the game wore on Wolves slowly (it was 0-0 at half time) increased the pressure to finally put the ball in the back of the net with a run to the byline and a quick ball whipped across goal...and then the same again 4 minutes later...and then again another 6 minutes after that. We actually missed the last goal after sneaking out early (it felt wrong) for the last train. Pyunik didn't play badly, Wolves were just better.
8-0 not a bad aggregate score.
