Professor Slughorn’s house

The morning was spent around Chippenham viewing a couple more properties and trying to secure the preferred one. Very stressful!
We had the afternoon to enjoy and so paid a visit to Budleigh Babberton, aka Lacock. Here it turns out was filmed some of the scenes from Harry Potter, including Slughorn’s house and the house where Lily and James Potter were killed.
Lacock Abbey was used for some scenes in Hogwarts too.
Then we sampled a cream tea, followed by a great supper with Pam and Pete, tasting some of Pete’s extensive collection of single malts!
