The rain was so torrential when I needed to leave for work, I ended up getting the bus for the first time in about 6 months. I smugly stepped off the bus in town, thinking about how lovely and dry I was... straight onto a wonky paving slab which squelched muddy water all up the back of my leg and down into my shoe.

Busy morning, had a lot to do before Gillian left early for her emergency dentist appointment (she finally listened to me).

In the evening I ate some cheesecake and it was great.
