Alton Water

Our walk today was a circuit of Alton Water Reservoir which was created some 50 years ago. We covered just over 8 miles mostly in light rain. Since it opened in 1987 the area has become  a woodland walk with only a few places where the water is visible. A great walk but a pity about the rain.
