. . . and his amazing lamp

Wet weather meant staying mainly indoors - sewing, jigsaw and lots more shopping business - the empire grows.

Grandad's waffles for lunch - scrambled egg, bacon, baked beans and lots of maple syrup.

For the afternoon I had booked tickets for the Puppet Theatre at Upfront Gallery. An excellent tale of Aladdin - brilliant puppets, magical scenery and special effects. We were all entranced. And best of all at the end, for anyone who wanted to stay a while, John Parkinson came to the front,  talked about the theatre and answered questions. We learnt a lot about what went on behind the scenes. Then some puppets were left on the stage for the children to get up close and photographs to be taken. My photo is Aladdin and the Princess and some of the wonderful scenery. A professional performance and very enjoyable for everyone.

Extras
Two girls found pondering some of the books I have made - their mother and Aunt when young. Makes my efforts making such books so worthwhile.
