Rainbow ......

boots.  Lucy went shopping with her mum yesterday and chose these wellingtons for herself and so my daughter said she would ask if Gramma could buy them for Lou.  Of course I did, and also a little coat she had needed for the Winter.  I ordered yesterday online and they arrived this morning.  They popped over and of course Lucy was very pleased to see the boots!  The idea was that they would reside here so that she would have a pair handy for the garden when she comes ...... however I didn't have the heart to make her leave them behind so will probably have to buy duplicates ......  

We took Little B on a long walk by the Basingstoke Canal this afternoon.  He didn't get out yesterday because it was so wet and he was raring to go.  However, 5 miles later he was flagging a little!  We stopped at a pub on the way home and he sat on my lap with his eyes half closed.  When we got home he downed his supper and hasn't been seen since.  He's upstairs on Little Ro's bed with his eyes tight shut!
