Mixed Emotions...

It's the middle of August and the fireweed are preparing to do that wonderful whispy thing they do.......i love watching them move into this stage, but it signals the closing in of summer!   it's gone to quickly this summer, i am only just getting to swim in the pond, sit outside without being attacked by the bugs.....too soon to think of sweaters and socks.

First day out of the mudroom in 9 days.....it also has gone too fast!  back at it tomorrow the get the glaze kiln on by Monday afternoon!  what is it they say, No Rest for the Wicked....boy i must have been awfully bad somewhere along the line!!!!
